Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SEODojo ("the service") at seodojo.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

SEODojo helps you research keywords, write and score SEO content, audit and track pages, and publish approved articles to destinations you connect (such as WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, GitHub, and Notion). Nothing is published without your explicit approval in the Publish Queue.

Your account

• You're responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must be legally able to enter into these terms to use the service.
• If you invite team members, you're responsible for their access to your workspace.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use SEODojo to:

• Violate any law, or the terms of service of a platform you connect (e.g. WordPress, Notion, Shopify).
• Publish content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or is defamatory, fraudulent, or malicious.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or another user's account.
• Use the service to generate spam or content designed to manipulate search rankings deceptively.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Connected destinations and third-party services

When you connect a publishing destination or another third-party service, you're also bound by that provider's own terms. We're not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of services we integrate with but don't operate. You're responsible for what you publish through those connections.

Your content

You own the content you create and publish through SEODojo. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit it as needed to provide the service (for example, sending a draft to an AI provider for scoring, or to a destination you've connected for publishing). We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it to train AI models.

AI-generated content

SEODojo uses third-party AI models to help draft, score, and check content. AI output can be inaccurate or require editing. You're responsible for reviewing and approving anything before it publishes — which is why publishing always requires your explicit approval in the Publish Queue.

Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Service availability

We aim to keep SEODojo available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service, and features that depend on third-party providers (AI models, search data, publishing destinations), are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEODojo isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including content published through a connected destination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
