The MCP server lets an AI assistant use SEODojo for you. Connect it to Claude, Cursor or any other client that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), and you can say "analyze 'ielts speaking part 3', write a draft that scores well, and queue it for ieltsbandlift.com". The assistant does it with the same tools you've used in this course, within your plan's limits.
Step 1: Get a key
On Publish Queue, under API access, create an API key (lesson 8.4). Limit it to the site you'll work on. The MCP server is included from Pro.
Step 2: Connect your assistant
The MCP server tab on the same page has the setup, ready to copy.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http seodojo https://api.seodojo.app/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <your key>"
Any other MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor and others) takes a JSON config:
{ "mcpServers": { "seodojo": {
"url": "https://api.seodojo.app/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <your key>" } } } }
Replace <your key> with your key, and keep the file out of anything you share or commit.
Step 3: Know what it can do
The assistant gets ten tools:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_keywords | Keywords already analyzed, free to reuse |
analyze_keyword | A SERP brief for a keyword (lesson 2.2) |
score_draft | The Editor's score for a draft (lesson 3.1) |
check_originality | Copied-text check (lesson 3.4) |
generate_article | A full draft (lesson 3.2) |
audit_url | Audit a live page (lesson 5.1) |
queue_article | Send a draft to the Publish Queue |
list_publish_queue | What's waiting for review |
check_ai_citations | Ask AI engines a question and see if they name you (lesson 7.4) |
get_job | Collect the result of a slow task |
Slow tasks, like a full article (30–70 seconds), return a job id if they take too long, and the assistant collects the result with get_job. Every tool applies the same plan limits as the screens, because they spend the same credits.
Step 4: Give it a real task
Ask for a whole piece of work, not one tool at a time. For example, for ieltsbandlift.com:
Analyze "ielts speaking part 3" for India. Write a draft that covers the shared subtopics, mentions our AI-scored speaking sessions once, and scores at least 80. Check it for copied text, then queue it for ieltsbandlift.com. Tell me the score and anything you weren't sure about.
The last sentence matters. Ask the assistant to tell you what it wasn't sure of, then read the draft in the Publish Queue like any other (lesson 4.2). Nothing it queues is published until a person approves it, and everything Module 3 said about checking drafts still applies.
Tip: The assistant is good at the repetitive parts: analyzing ten keywords, scoring five drafts, checking citations for a list of questions. Use it for those, and keep the judgment calls (which keyword, is this claim true, does this sound like us) for yourself.
Done when
- Your assistant is connected with a key limited to one site
- You've run one task end to end, from analysis to a queued draft
- You've read what it queued before approving
- You know which repetitive jobs you'll hand to it from now on
