Most of this course has been one site, ieltsbandlift.com. The account it runs in actually has three: ieltsbandlift.com, seodojo.app itself, and scrapio.dev. That's the normal setup for anyone looking after more than one site, whether that's an agency with clients or a founder with a few products.
Adding a site
Sites are added through Search Console, not typed in. On My Site, connect your Google account and pick a property from the list (lesson 1.4). Picking it adds the site, or switches to it if it's already there.
That means you can only add sites you've verified in Search Console. That's deliberate: it proves you have access, and it means every site has real Google data from day one. Every plan, Free included, can add as many verified sites as you have.
For a client's site, ask the client to add your Google account as a user on their Search Console property. Then it appears in your list.
Switching sites
The Site dropdown at the top of the sidebar switches everything at once. Choose ieltsbandlift.com and every page shows ieltsbandlift.com's data. Choose seodojo.app and it all changes.
Get into the habit of glancing at it before you do anything. Tracking a prompt or queueing an article while the wrong site is selected is the most common multi-site mistake.
What each site keeps to itself
Each site has its own:
- Search Console property, and everything that comes from it: clicks, decay, cannibalization
- Keyword lists and researched keywords
- Rank tracking
- AI Visibility: tracked prompts, competitors, sources, alerts, share link and digest
- Brand card, so each site's articles mention the right brand and link to the right pages
- Publishing destinations and Publish Queue
- Autopilot topics and schedule
- AI crawler connection (one Cloudflare zone per site)
So ieltsbandlift.com's articles never mention SEODojo, and SEODojo's AI Visibility never counts IELTS prompts.
What they share
The account has one plan, so the monthly limits are shared across every site: keyword analyses, drafts, research lookups, AI-check credits and Autopilot runs. Five sites on Pro share Pro's allowance. They don't get five of them.
Keyword analyses are cached and shared too. Once a keyword is analyzed, looking at it again is free, from any site.
Tip: If one site is your main focus, give it most of the AI-check credits. Track the important prompts daily on that one, and weekly or not at all on the others. Credits run out on whatever uses them first.
Done when
- Every site you manage is added through Search Console
- You check the site switcher before doing anything
- Each site has its own brand card filled in
- You know your plan's limits are shared, and you've decided which site gets most of them
